Limo Driver Smacked

Limo Driver Smacked in America

A 38-year-old limousine driver from Pennsylvania was punched in the face Sunday night after getting into an argument with two men in front of a Hoboken hotel, police said. A Pennsylvania woman who told police she was the passenger in the limo said at 11:08 p.m. Sunday her driver was about to drop her off at the W on River Street when two men opened a rear passenger door and tried to get in, reports said.

The driver got out and walked to the back of the vehicle to make sure his passenger wasn't in danger and got into an argument with the two men, who both punched the driver in the face, cutting his nose and under his left eye, reports said. The driver was taken to Hoboken University Medical Centre and treated for his injuries, police said. The two men were seen running south on River Street, reports said. A search by other officers turned up empty, police said.
